While serving in New Deli, India, Jessica volunteered her time assisting with a local medical aid team to provide health services to underprivileged children and later, while in Mexico, she participated in constructing homes for disadvantaged families. Purses for Women, a Homeless Outreach organized by Jessica, helped meet the needs of many by providing every day necessities that others may take for granted, such as, food, personal hygiene items, socks, gloves, scarves, etc. Jessica also enjoys working with children and young adults in her community. She volunteered as a counselor at a camp for young adults with Down Syndrome and has worked for several years as a certified Soccer Coach. Some of her other interactions with youth involve working with CAB, a Rehabilitation house for Adolescence, while living in Boston, Massachusetts. Jessica had often hoped to serve in a life affirming ministry, a hope that was fulfilled in Birth Choice of Temecula last year. She has been a regular volunteer at Birth Choice as a Care Coach Advocate and often organizes other groups of volunteers to help with various needs. She has taken on a Management position for Birth Choice as well and will continue serving in both roles. Jessica recently organized a Prayer Walk from the Temecula Duck Pond to City Hall on the 4th of July. Nearly 100 Temecula residents participated in this event, bringing the community together in a positive way. She and her husband are active volunteers at their Church home, and she continues to volunteer in her children’s schools each year.
